Occasion
My little sister Anna is having a Halloween party this year, so I made my first piece-together cupcake figure. The Halloween party occurred the same day as the one-year-old’s birthday party, so I made extra pumpkin toppers and cupcakes earlier and was able to cut down a little of time.
Cupcakes
Same as the Fall Birthday Cupcakes.
Decoration
The cupcakes used for the skeleton had the same vanilla bean frosting, but after frosting them as smooth as I could, I put then in the fridge to setup a bit and then rolled them on a paper towel to get a smoother top. They were then rolled in Oreo crumbles for a dark background. The skeleton pieces are made out of almond bark. Hello! Cupcake provided a pattern, which I simply put wax paper over and traced.
The Oreo crumbles was actually a delicious topping, in addition to providing the color we needed...
